Experience
A specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery, with extensive clinical experience across Poland, Ireland and the United Kingdom. He graduated from the Silesian Medical Academy in Katowice in 2001 and completed his specialist training in Warsaw in 2009.
He spent the first ten years of his career as an operating surgeon at the City Hospital in Siemianowice - a period of highly intensive surgical work, during which he performed around 1,000 procedures a year. He also brings academic experience to his practice, having lectured at the Faculty of Physiotherapy at the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice.
Current practice
He provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders in both adults and children. Alongside seeing patients at Ashtown Medical Centre in Dublin, he performs surgery and provides specialist consultations at Tommed Hospital in Poland, and collaborates with clinics across the United Kingdom.
His clinical philosophy is grounded in a highly personalised approach to care. From a wide range of modern treatment options, he carefully selects those that best match each patient’s needs, expectations and level of activity. He is committed to holistic, empathetic care - making sure his patients always feel genuinely supported and involved throughout their recovery.
Areas of specialisation
- Osteoarthritis - advanced conservative therapies, including hyaluronic acid, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), stem cell and steroid injections.
- Advanced pain management - specialist treatment of chronic spinal pain and disc disease, including cryolesion and targeted nerve blocks (facet joint, selective, nerve root and epidural).
- Sports orthopaedics and knee surgery - diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries and overuse syndromes, with a particular focus on arthroscopic treatment of the knee.
- Paediatric orthopaedics - preventive infant hip ultrasound screening, and assessment of postural and foot problems in older children.
- Medico-legal reporting - independent medical reports in Ireland and the United Kingdom for road traffic accidents, workplace incidents and medical negligence claims.
